Warning: If making a payment through Lopay, always check it is to a trusted merchant/seller first. For guidance on how to spot scams please click here.

How does Lopay protect my payments before they're paid out?

All funds in your Lopay Merchant Account are protected by Stripe. Stripe is FCA regulated and one of the largest financial service companies in the world. For details on how Stripe safeguards your funds please click here.

Furthermore, all funds made available in a "Stripe Balance" are held in a For Benefit Of (FBO) account underwritten by Stripe's domestic banking partner. So in the unlikely event that Stripe becomes bankrupt or insolvent, the FBO is still separate and will still pay out to you any funds held within.

How does Lopay store data?

We store data on a secure, encrypted database of which there is limited access. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at [email protected].

How will Lopay use my personal data?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), an EU law updating and standardising data privacy laws across the EU, we will always ask for consent to use your personal data for marketing and sales purposes. You can unsubscribe from any of our emails at any time. For more detail please see our Privacy Policy.
