With Tap to Pay you can take in-person payments using only your phone. It only takes a few taps to get set up.
Setting up Tap to Pay on Android
Select the 'My Devices' tile on your app home screen
'Tap to Pay on Android' should be displayed at the top of the screen
Select 'Tap to Pay on Android' then 'Connect.'
Tick the box to confirm that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions associated with Tap to Pay. Then select ‘Get started’
Once connected, you will see a green tick beside 'Tap to Pay on Android' on your 'My devices' page (if it is not connected, you will see a red cross). You need to be 'connected' to take a payment via Tap to Pay.
Taking a payment using Tap to Pay on Android
Select the Charge screen (2nd icon at the bottom of the Lopay app)
Enter the amount required and tap ‘Charge’
Select’ Tap to Pay on Android’ from the list of payment options presented
The screen below will appear on your phone. Ask your customer to tap their card or phone on the back of your phone.
Once the payment is complete you will see the green payment successful screen and the options to send a receipt
