View or export activity reports

Find the report you need in the Lopay app or web portal

With Lopay you’re able to run and export a range of reports to view detailed information about the activities in your Lopay account.

You can view and export your reports via the Lopay app or web portal:

  • In the App - Tap the 'My Reports' tile on your app home page or go to the 'Activity' screen and tap 'Reports'.

  • In the Web Portal - Login via the Lopay website or https://portal.lopay.com. Select from the options available under Reporting in the left-hand menu.

Easily access the following reports:

  • Statements - all money going in and coming out of your account, including a breakdown of all fees incurred.

  • Sales report - a detailed view of all your sales activity

  • Fees breakdown - a breakdown of all the fees incurred on your account

  • Point of sale report - a detailed view of your stock levels and product sales if you use the Shop function

All reports can be filtered through the drop-down menu at the top of the page by either day, week, month or financial year. Please note, your financial year end can only be set once.

Statements

Statements show all money coming in and going out of your Lopay account for a specific period, this includes all payments taken, payouts to your bank as well as spend via your Expense & Reward Card. You can drill into any of the transaction types for more information.

To view and export a statement:

  1. Open your reporting dashboard within your Lopay app or the web portal.

  2. Select Statement and use the filters at the top to filter by transaction type, team member or use the search feature if you need to narrow it down

  3. Select Download statement

  4. Choose to either Download as CSV or Download as Excel

  5. Click Email me when done or wait for the statement to go to your downloads

Your statement will be exported as a zip file and broken down into separate files for each transaction type.

Statements will be displayed in reverse chronological order going back from the given "Ending" date to the given "Starting" date

Looking for your report for the last financial year? Go to Reports then scroll down and select 'see all' beside Recent Statements. Then select 'financial year' from the filter options.

Fee breakdown

To get a breakdown of the fees you have incurred during a certain period:

  1. Open your reporting dashboard within your Lopay app or the web portal.

  2. Select Statement and use the filters at the top to filter by transaction type, team member or use the search feature if you need to narrow it down

  3. Click View fee breakdown

The fee breakdown shows Gross Sales, Gross Fees, Fee Discounts, and Net Fees.

Sales report

The sales report in Lopay shows the sales activity for a specific period of time, i.e. all payments taken via Lopay. It includes the following breakdowns:

  • Tips received

  • Taxes or VAT collected

  • Sales by channel, product, and team member

  • Lopay fees

  • Cash payments (if entered)

💡 Note: Sections will only appear if there's data for that activity.

To export the sales report in PDF:

  1. Open your reporting dashboard within your Lopay app or the web portal.

  2. Select Statement and use the filters at the top to filter by transaction type, team member or use the search feature if you need to narrow it down

  3. Click into the relevant report

  4. Click Download sales report

  5. Click Email me when done or wait for the sales report to go to your downloads

  6. Open up the PDF from your downloads folder

Point of Sale report

The Point of Sale report provides an overview of all of the products your business has sold during a specific period if you use the Shop feature within the Lopay app.

To view your Product report:

  1. Open your reporting dashboard within your Lopay app or the web portal.

  2. Select Point of Sale use the filters as needed

  3. Click into the relevant report

  4. Click Product report

Troubleshooting

The following can help resolve common questions or discrepancies in financial reports:

  1. Check that the date range selected in your tax reports exactly matches your fiscal year.

  2. Compare data by sales date and payout date separately for clearer reconciliation.
